Top 3 Catholic Boy Baby Name Trends for 2025

As a custom baby book maker, I get to see many Catholic baby names! Here are the top 3 Catholic baby boy name trends we're going to see in 2025:

1. A modern name paired with an old Catholic middle name from the Eucharistic prayer. Middle names like: Matthias, Barnabas, Ignatius, Alexander, Marcellinus, Linus, Clement, Cornelius, Cyprian, Lawrence, Cosmas and Damian.

2. Family names. A lot of Catholic families are using traditional family names or names from their heritage. Irish: try Declan. English: try George. Italian: try Lorenzo. Hispanic: try Antonio. Nordic: try Erik. 

3. Suffixes. As people lean on traditions and their heritage, we're going to see an uptick in boys named after their fathers and grandfathers, adding "III" as the third or even "IV" for the fourth to their names. We even have a "VI" in my family!
